
I am an Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Hertie School, Berlin. My research examines domestic sources of foreign policy, spanning substate conflict to diaspora mobilization.
I was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI), Florence. I completed my PhD at the Department of Government, Georgetown University, Washington, DC. My dissertation focused on the impact of insurgencies on economic integration.
I have an MPhil in International Politics and an MA in Politics (with specialization in International Relations) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
My prior work experience includes organizing Track II Dialogues between India and Pakistan, specifically on security issues related to Jammu and Kashmir.
