About Me
I am an Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Hertie School, Berlin. My research examines the domestic sources of foreign policy, spanning substate conflict to diaspora mobilization. My research has been published in journals like Perspectives on Politics, Conflict Management and Peace Science, Indian Politics and Policy, and European Journal of Politics and Gender.
I was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI), Florence. I completed my PhD at the Department of Government, Georgetown University, Washington, DC. My dissertation focused on the impact of insurgencies on economic integration.
I have an MPhil in International Politics and an MA in Politics (with specialization in International Relations) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
My prior work experience includes organizing Track II Dialogues between India and Pakistan, specifically on security issues related to Jammu and Kashmir.
